Percussion Ensemble

Five Wave Blues is a shadowy but driving piece in a 1960's surfie style with modern twists.  The meter of the piece is 5/4 and it follows an altered blues form.  The rhythmic units employed include quaver rests and groups of semiquavers, making this piece ideal for students at an intermediate level looking for something to show off their counting skills!  

Five Wave Blues is an accompanied solo written for trash percussion but it can also be played on the standard drum kit.
